Harold Deane Jr. Native of Chesterfield County, Virginia who attended Matoaca High School as a 3 Sport Student-Athlete (Basketball, Tennis and Cross-Country) , at Fork Union Military Academy in 1993 he was a Post Graduate Student-Athlete & received a 4 year Scholarship to attend University of Virginia from 1994-1997. Harold was a 4 year Starting Point Guard, All- Freshman Team, All-ACC & NCAA’s Most Outstanding Player in the 1995 Midwest Regional Tournament & 2010 Member of the ACC Legends at The ACC Tournament. He still ranks Top 10 in All-Time Scoring for UVA as well in Assist and 3 Point Field Goals made.
Harold continued his career Overseas Professionally playing in Italy, Germany, Russia, Lithuania & Portugal. He made the Russian All-Star Team in 2001 along with being the Slam-Dunk Champion in that same year as an All-Star.
Since his playing Career ended Harold has continued to stay around the game of Basketball by Training, Mentoring and Motivating Student-Athletes in Virginia, Maryland and California respectfully from 2012-2019.
Harold’s unique training styles range from in detail Footwork, proper shooting form and release, as well as creating space to score. He has worked with a range of players from Elementary school Level all the way to the NBA. Players such as Frank Mason of the Sacramento Kings, L.G Gill of the Iowa Timberwolves NBA G-League, Cadarian Raines Overseas in Melbourne, Victoria as well! While Enjoying helping others reach their full potential through Player Development, Harold also works with players in Strength and Conditioning. One of the ACC’s strongest guards to ever play the game, his toughness and ability to defend and stop other players is what separated him from other great players in his era.
